I haven't a clue what it is, but it looks wonderful!

Did the dealer say it was a "brand" name manufacturer? It looks home made to me.
That's not to doubt it's purity, I'm sure it's fine, it just doesn't look like anything I've seen before.

What are the errors?? Perhaps I can correct same.
Been interested in PMs for 50 yrs. Have never tried to sell much as I love the collecting. Is a safety deposit box a safe way
for storage.
A friend says the only way to be sure is to bury it in the yard. I did some but developed a leak in the cooler and made some coins very angry.

You need to make your own thread. and safety deposit boxes are not a very good option.

The coin dealer I got this bar from did not have any info to give me,he has never seen one before.

I'm in British Columbia and the flower emblem looks alot like our provincial flower the Dogwood,so it might be locally minted?

As far as I can make out the name on it ,it says CENTENN(L?).
The mintmark is either a J or U inside a triangle.

I think I can see (or imagine) "CENTENNIAL" in your original pic.

I tried researching Centennial Mining but didn't get very far. The other side says silver but the purity stamp, if any, is illegible.

From what you guys have posted JW might deduce the following;
It is a "Centennial" AG (looks like it is stamped "silver") bar, celebrating something of importance perhaps, The flower "Dogwood" as JW stated. The J triangle is most likely the mint mark (as stated). Look into the history and importance of that flower to your area... You might find something there. Ask some of the locals you know. I would definitely lean towards hand poured. But, what I'm getting at is, someone made it for a reason. Find out the reason, then, you might find out where the bar came from...

Appears to have been poured into a "closed" mold with hallmark info machined in. I experimented with those in the early 80's. Nice looking piece.
